Just a reminder that this Sunday’s THE DAY.
There are lots of exciting Bikes coming …including two model 18 Nortons, a Brough Superior ss100,a Humber 350,a Rudge Multi 1913, and a 1914 Matchless,to name a few!!!……… last year there were so many we lost count. Winnie, Peters sister is busy making extra cakes, Ive just got back from cash and carry with the makings of sandwiches and rolls, extra coffee and tea mugs, etc. The BOC has lent me an extra tea urn, and a small army of staff are organised.
All we need now is YOU and a final Sunny rain free day. After Sunday the heavens can open ………..the garden needs it desperately
It’s informal, relaxed, and friendly. No entry fee.. you don’t even need to bring an old bike. ALL WE ASK IS THAT YOU DONT PARK IN FRONT OF OUR NEIGHBOURS DRIVES AND BLOCK THEIR EXITS!
Our charity collection this year will be in support of HELP for HEROES. This is the charity that the Village Fayre is collecting for on the Bank holiday weekend at the end of may.Details of this event will be in a later blog.
