Blackmore Village Fayre 2011 Wow what a weekend!

My granddaughters with their winnings( these went in my pond)

Well it’s all over bar the counting!…………….. Everyone worked so hard, the rain stayed away, and the turnout was fantastic. I did manage a few quick looks at the activities, but most of the photos were taken by Peter, while Bobby, Ollie, Spencer,Max, and Bex manned the Teashop and shop,      (very cheerfully and efficiently… Thank  you team ) ………………… and I nursed a very painful back.

I’ll let the rest of the photos speak for themselves…………………………………………

Well done the village fayre committee, they’ve pulled it off again, I’d hazard a guess that this was the most successful fayre to date, everyone had a wonderful time.I’m sure lots of money was raised for Help for Heroes.

Lastly the raffle was drawn for ‘help for Charlie’ and the village handed over £4000  to his family to aid his recovery. He was in the Teashop in his wheelchair on Sunday with his parents. We all hope he makes progress and is soon talking and maybe walking again soon.     (see Royal wedding post when we opened our garden for this fund)
