ROLL ON MAY AND BLUEBELL TIME!!!!!

THIS YEAR OUR VETERAN AND VINTAGE B.O.C. MOTORCYCLE MEET IS ON SUNDAY 12th MAY. WE’VE GOT A NEW OUTSIDE TABLE , AN EXTRA URN AND WEATHER PERMITTING THERE WILL BE AN EVEN BETTER TURNOUT THAN LAST YEAR……….

Look forward to a fantastic display of vintage and classic motorcycles at Jericho cottage and on the Green. Last year there were about 300. !!

THE TEASHOP WILL BE OPEN AS USUAL FROM 9.30 am..

In addition to our usual range of delicious homemade cakes, scones and cream , teas, coffees, hot chocolate and soft drinks ,we will have ham /cheese rolls, soup and toast. We will also have extra staff and an outside counter to save you waiting!

 

AND THAT’S NOT ALL. IN MAY……. EVERY TWO YEARS THE FAMOUS VILLAGE FAYRE IS HELD AND IT’S THIS YEAR!!!

BLACKMORE VILLAGE FAYRE May weekend26th-and 27th

The theme this year is ‘Lost in Space’…On SUNDAY26th There will be the usual parade from the village hall through the village to the Duckpond green and you can enjoy an afternoon of entertainment, games,stalls,side shows and a hog roast.etc

on BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY The Fayre is on all day on the Duckpond Green with a pet show Zippy Dipper ride, a rickshaw race and a charity bike ride in addition to the craft stalls. MEGARRYS TEA SHOP will be open both days from 9.30 till 5 providing an oasis where you can sit and enjoy a cuppa, a slice of home made cake or soft drinks either in the teashop or on the patio or sun deck. The Garden will also be open for a donation to the village fare charity …..Essex based ‘brainwave’ for children with disabilities. www.brainwave.org.uk

PLEASE NOTE ENTRY TO THE ANTIQUE SHOP WILL BE RESTRICTED TO TWO ADULTS AT A TIME. Sorry but there have been breakages on previous village fare days due to pressure of numbers.

ORCHID CYCLE 2013. SUNDAY JUNE 9th PIT STOP HERE

This is a charity cycle ride for Orchid the male cancer charity, and they will once again be using us as a pit stop. We will also have an outside stall that day so that cyclists don’t have to wait in a long queue and will have a range of energy drinks, mars bars, rolls and bananas in addition to our usual scrumptious home made cakes, flapjacks etc.
