The sun is still shining and it looks good for the weekend so we have decided to open the garden for Easter .The weather may be lovely for people, but its too dry for the plants, so we’ve had to use the hosepipe early this year.
The Teashop, Antique shop and Garden will be open the whole Easter weekend. 10 till 5 Good Friday, Saturday and Easter Sunday, and 11 till 4.45 on Easter Monday.
The Victorion glasshouse is full of geraniums, busy lizzie, tomatoes etc. for sale(although I really don’t think they need to be protected now, if this heat continues) There are pansies ,violas ,pinks, ranunculas and overwintered perennials for sale on the patio. The sun umbellas are up , and everything is bursting into fresh new growth.
The teashop is well stocked with Winnies, and Mandys home made cakes, Scones cream and Jam, and of course Hot cross buns. There is plenty to look at in the Antique shop, as well as Cards, local Art and craft.
The Village Duckpond Green and our Garden are both looking really pretty, so hope to see you during the weekend?
