Painting days for local artists in Judi’s Garden… Megarrys Blackmore

Judi’s garden is available for individual artists,( beginners or experienced), and to groups with their tutor.              It is an ideal location to paint ‘in the field’.  No distractions  no phone calls ….. …just peace and quiet in pleasant surroundings. We close the garden to the public when painters arrive!  If the weather suddenly changes you can retreat inside till it changes again! We provide beverages when you arrive, and in the afternoon. You can bring your own picnic lunch or we will book you in to a local pub if you prefer. Or if you don’t want to stop for lunch ask Judi in advance to make you a sandwich, or choose from a wide range of homemade cakes, scones and cream, tea cakes or crumpets!!es in the teashop…..There are comfortable garden chairs, picnic umbrellas, toilet facilities..(you won’t find that in a field).. a wide choice of subjects to paint, fresh water on tap. We’ll provide water pots…… and if you need help Judi is an ex art teacher, but you may have to wait if she’s with a shop customer…… Formal tuition is only provided when you join a group with a tutor!

We charge £12 for one person or £10 pp for groups of 2 or more. This includes two beverages and use of all the facilities from 10 am till 4.30 pm on Wed’s Thursdays and Fridays. Also if you haven’t finished you can return another day ….Free, and just pay teashop prices for refreshment on the second day!  ADVANCE NOTICE IS REQUIRED IN CASE SOMEONE ELSE HAS BOOKED IN AND REQUIRES PRIVACY.
